Dems keying on SoS races - is it their way of saying they KNOW Kerry won

It seems to be the course they're setting to me. I'd prefer everyone shout out loud that the machines are rigged, but at least they are acting as if they "know" they are.

1. No, they've finally figured out that . . .

The SOS post is CRUCIAL to fair elections, and by letting the 'Licans wrap up so many SOS slots has compromised fair elections nationwide.

You don't have to believe that Kerry won (I do, incidentally) to know that what Blackwell (and Harris) got away with was criminal and a serious blow to our democracy.

4. Since it's possible 2008 candidates like Vilsack and Bayh who are making

note of SoS races, I'd say since Kennedy's article came out they pretty much know Kerry won.

It's been the job of many a Southern strategist to lie to the people and claim that Kerry lost because he's a Northern senator. They will not dare mention the machine and election fraud because there is no money for their mortgages in telling the truth.

to get the state level positions back in Democratic hands. Remember when he has criticized Harris and Blackwell for being campaign managers and in charge of vote counting?

In Florida our SoS is only answerable to Jeb, no legislative oversight. And she is in charge of the voting. She and Jeb just handle stuff all by themselves.

3. I keyed on that last year - and noticed who was focused on SoS races.

Now, I am hearing reports about state races where more Dems are paying attention to that aspect of the ticket.

Imagine if McAuliffe had recognized the import of it after 2000.
