Are we still having Lieberman supporters here at DU? |

Because he's not a Democrat anymore. In case you guys forgot, or something. Whatever your views on Lamont are, or whether you agree mostly with Lieberman's policies or not, he's not a Democrat anymore. Get the fuck over it already.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm against a lot of Democrat's positions. The pro war ones are assholes. The DLC minded ones especially need to go. Notice though, that I say they need to go, as in, get the hell out of the Democratic party. I'm not for voting for a third party candidate, I'm for shifting the Democrats back to reality instead of where a lot of them are today, which is up the Republican's asses. That's what primaries are for. To kick out the right wing Democrats and put in a true alternative to the Repuglican bitches.
But once you got a Democrat running against a Repuke, you gotta support the Dem, no matter what. I wanted Kucinich to win back in 2004. Him or Dean would've been fine with me. But then when the media took over and helped Kerry win, well that sucked, but HE WAS THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE and I gotta support him.
Lieberman is not the Democratic candidate. It's over. Support the Democrat. If your views are different, then when primaries come up, support the other DEMOCRAT that has your views. Whoever the presidential candidates are in '08, pick the one that supports your views. I hope one like Kucinich shows up and I hope all of you realize that we need people like Kucinich running things instead of people like Hillary. But if Hillary wins the primary, I'M GONNA SUPPORT HILLARY, period.
I guess this is all a long way of saying: Enough about Lieberman already.

Flame-Bait, and calling of forum members.
The rules of the site prohibit working for the defeat if a Democratic candidate. When that line is crossed, the moderators will deal with it.
