On my way to DC this week.... I listen to Walter Cronkite reenact
the events running up to the Constitutional Convention and then the ratifying process...

Really interesting stuff....

2. It's not a You are there tape...
But they do use charactor actors to read the parts of the various players...

All from transcripts and private letters...

I remember vividly one of his YAT episodes on tv (It when I was a little girl). He was doing the great San Francisco fire. He was in a boat and talking to people going past in other boats with the city in flames in the background.

Edit: Or it could have been the Chicago fire. It was a long time ago when I saw that as a kid!
