Like in the movie, Crimson Tide, who is responsible for physically |
removing Busch from office? I mean, he ignores Congress, the Supreme Court, and his military advisers. If push comes to shove, and he is "suppose to go" but doesn't, who's going to physically do it? Whomever it is, they will be charged with treason by him.

2. I think that honor would go to the Secret Service. |
They are responsible for the protection of not only the President, but the Presidency. If Bush 'insisted' on retaining power after his successor was duly elected and sworn in, the SS would have a duty to remove him.
Of course, if Bush just manipulated the other two branches of government to give him a life Presidency, then it's anyone's guess how we'd get him out (short of a rerun of 1776).

4. What if he just barricades himself in the Oval Office |
and refuses to leave? I have visions of him being tasered and carried out... Fiction could not be any stranger than what passes for reality these days. :patriot:

5. We've seen numerous "firsts" under this administration, and none |
of these responses are positive. Sounds like once the 08 elections are called, we're just SOL.

6. I remember this coming up during the Nixon era |
I believe the sergeant-at-arms of the House of Representives would have that honor.
