Are the Republicans coming apart at the seams?
Or is it just that the rest of the country is finally coming out of its 9/11 shock?

  • George Allen calls a person of Indian descent "macaca" and "welcomes" him.
  • Tramm Hudson says he knows from experience that "blacks are not the greatest swimmers".
  • Dick Cheney relates voting for Lamont to aiding al Qaeda.
  • Mike Gallagher calls for a "Muslim only" line at the airport.
  • Neal Boortz calls Muhammad a "rag-picker" (and then doesn't have the guts to own up to it on national TV).
  • Rush Limbaugh refers to US citizens trapped in Lebanon as "spoiled-rotten brat ingrates".
  • Bill O'Reily says he would run Iraq "just like Sadam".
  • Ann Coulter claims 9/11 widows "enjoying" their spouses deaths.
  • . . .

I'm sure there are many items that could be added to the list. This is the party of the "Christian" right? Where does all this hatred come from?

This is not the country I grew up in.

3. The Hatred has always been there but the vehicle or forum to express

their hatred was non existant before the * cabal came to power....they opened the gates to hell....when the people that you pointed out say the bullshit they say....Not once has * ever come out and said it's not appropriate....They have no civility.....no manners and they simply don't care.

It's worse than don't care when they say that Lebanon ese dead are not worth as much as "Israeli
dead" That's just screwy.

7. I only wish! Don't you realize that THEY think they're right?
I can only hope they'll come appart, but I don't see it.

What I see is at least SOME people who were lifetime Pubs are getting very disgusted with their Party, and the Party leaders are seeing that and continue trying the old BS that doesn't seem to be working too well anymore.

9. Ridicule used to be "in"
I think Katrina made it not so cute anymore but these jokers can't seem to grasp that people are beginning to see the racism in their "funny antecdotes".

17. Bill O'Reilly said he would run Iraq just like Saddam? Funny.
I had read that some thought the way Saddam ran Iraq may have been the only way to handle it at this point in time...with an iron fist. It was secular and it had been prosperous and progressive prior to the war and sanctions. I think things are much worse now.

18. Are the Republicans coming apart at the seams?
Hardly.

They're having a bad patch is all. They are one Terrorist Attack away from continuing their one-Party rule for 10 more years.

And, they are racists. (So's most of the rest of the country.) They're just bolder now that they've learned how to steal elections well... they can say what they're really thinking and no one but is gives a flying rat's petoot. Seen any condemnations or recriminations in ANY MSM about those racist statements of theirs? Me, neither.
