Imus Latest To Spew Crude Insults At Lamont
How badly do some people want Joe Lieberman to win? Bad enough to compare Lamont with John Mark Karr, the man who reportedly http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/08/17/AR2006081700302.html">admitted to killing 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey.

It's just the latest in an increasingly ugly effort to make sure that Lamont doesn't win.

As JABBS has documented, Lieberman's "friends" in the media launched an all-out war against Lamont before he defeated Lieberman in Connecticut's Democratic Senate primary. Now that there's a rematch -- Lieberman is running as an independent -- the stakes have risen, and so have the insults.

1. I Sent e-mail to MSNBC
but what good will it do?

For a former major drug, alcoholic loser, it's amazing to me he gets so much attention, but that's our media. Former criminals and losers rule the air waves.

7. you did the right thing
if enough people told Fox and MSNBC that we won't watch if they keep putting crude pundits on the air -- the Ann Coulter types -- then they might starting listening.

Of course, not that many people watch MSNBC as it is.

2. His very unfunny racist sidekick, Bernie (?)
kept repeating that Lamont looked like the Jon Benet "killer". Imus said he wouldn't let any democrats on his show that won't support "his friend" Joe Lieberman. I say, let the dems boycott Imus !

3. I heard C. Matthews on Imus the other morning.
He (Matthews) said that Imus got Clinton elected. Imus didn't argue the point...he must think he is God or something. Matthews was just kissing his ass!

4. i can't decide whether imus looks more like a daddy frog or a wanna be

lizar king.

edited to add: he probably identifies with the bushit boy on account of the fact that the two of them have a "dude ranch". bushit boy uses his to escape...imus uses his to collect donations for his charity for cancer kids.
or so he did a few years back when he had tomo brokaw, (maybe peter jennings) and other big names donating to his ranch by the oodles.

i always wonder who profits from donations and stuff like that.

5. This could backfire really big
The people of CT ought to be getting pretty pissed at the national media by now. I hope the Repukes get a big does of Yankee backlash.

8. I can't believe MSNBC keeps that crusty old fart on the air!
I was so happy when he announced he was ending his broadcast career..

Then later I find out MSNBC found a way for the dip to broadcast from his ranch and stay on the air..
