11. Captain Wallace Burton Binghamton, USN
Remember him from "McHale's Navy"? Mean, petty, stupid, vain and a product of family connections, he's the best character analogy I can think of. "What? What? What?"

Forrest Gump had a good heart; Junior's a mean little cuss to the bone.

Other than that, I couldn't agree more: he's evil filth.

3. He was doing a photo op earlier...
...where he had to eat frozen custard. Guess that explains the yellow tie his handlers made him wear. I'm surprised he's not wearing a bib.

5. Yes, I posted a thread with all of those photos:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=2793269&mesg_id=2793269

...and I've got to tell you, they turned my stomach. All I could think of was how he sucked the cake of his finger and fake-strummed his gee-tar a year ago, while people suffered and died in New Orleans (and elsewhere).

George W. Bush cares about one thing, and one thing only:

George W. Bush.

7. Olbermann said it best tonight...
...when playing the clip from yesterday's press conference, in which he basically said that anyone who disagrees with him is wrong.

He's bearing the burden of an incredibly flawed world vision. Telling the press that he doesn't care about how history will remember him because he'll be dead. Wondering why the Iraqis aren't more "grateful" and why the American people "don't understand."

As Ian Hunter sang in Mott The Hoople's classic "Hymn For The Dudes"...

"You ain't the nazz. You're just a buzz. Some kinda temporary..."

That sums up George W. Bush in 25 words or less..."Some kinda temporary."

8. As Bush hopped aboard Air Force One, leaving Minnesota, I
Edited on Tue Aug-22-06 11:12 PM by CLW
had the thought, Wouldn't he like to crack open a long-neck beer right about now? Or a cocktail? He's been glad-handing and smiling for his Republican toadies at a fund-raiser, and having to spew the usual BS in front of the cameras. That's hard work! It must be tough, as a former drinker, not to be able to kick back with a cool one.

the fing moron doesn't have a clue what's going on or how to fix it. his corporate owners are probably pulling their hair out in frustration because the situation has gotten really out of control - their control.
