Freeper's explanation of Iraq and 9/11 connection - UNBELIEVABLY STUPID! |
|
>Easy, it was explained dozens of times. Iraq's connection to 9/11 was that >9/11 caused a re-think concerning continuing threats facing the US. After >9/11 there was one power that had been at war with the US and the UN, had >continued to fire at US/UK aircraft nearly every day, was breaking the >cease-fire and a dozen UNSCRs, was harboring numerous terrorists and >terrorists organizations, had an intelligence network that had attempted to >kill a US president and killed numerous critics overseas, and that had to >change. It's called connecting the dots and reaching a conclusion. The >same people that were screaming "why didn't they connect the dots" after >Sept 11, have spent every day since trying to prevent the US from collecting >the dots, telling the terrorists what dots we are looking for, and >alternating between saying Iran is a bigger threat and Iran is no threat. > >Iraq wasn't about "an imminent threat" and it wasn't sold as "being a day at >the beach." Both were specifically warned were not the case. These two >canards are post hoc strawmen commie-libs began using before Saddam was even >captured. > >You can stop pretending you would support America if someone else was in >charge. > >You didn't sprain your ankle dancing in the streets after Sept 11 did you?

You mean to tell me that Saddam wasn't really going to nuke me after all? I just misheard her?
And of course Dubya has always said that President-in' was hard work!

And I suppose that if we'd just nuke the entire Muslim world, we could eliminate all those dots that fella's connecting. Lets see, our foreign policy should be: You're either with us or we'll kill you and rape your women.
I didn't sprain my ankle after 9/11, but I'll bet he suffered brain damage as a child.

6. It's logically incoherent, but this is indeed the BushCo case |

as presented to the true believers. This is fear and gut reaction. 9/11 showed that America is vulnerable. America must neutralize all threats. Be afraid!
Articulated more clearly by the neocons, a Middle East that lets bad things happen must be changed. The Middle East can be reformed with brute force.
