Can Jim Webb beat George Allen and help win back the U.S. Senate this November? Absolutely, but he needs your help to do it. He is running a campaign that is grounded in the netroots, and is fueled by the passion and energy of thousands of talented activists. People like you. Webb needs the support. And more, arguably, is at stake here.

2. A few months ago, who would have predicted this seat was a potential

pick up? Most, including Allen himself, thought he would coast to re-election. Webb is close and I hope he can pull it off.

I've said several weeks ago that Webb has a better-than-even chance of winning this seat. Webb has the same folks Mark Warner had in his successful bid for VA Governor; Steve Jarding and Dave "Mudcat" Saunders, authors of "Foxes in the Henhouse" on how the Democrats can win back the South.
