"We didn't whine"
Honestly, I just want to rip the hairs out of their eyelids when I hear this shit.

Well no fuckhead, you didn't whine because you weren't LEFT TO DROWN!!!

The fucking arrogance, the audacity.. I hate them. :grr:

2. It was Lott, that racist asshole with no heart
He basically implied that, "We're not whiners like those lazy Negroes in New Orleans"

5. Sorry - I don't usually do this
But the meme seems to be that Mississippi is doing so well because "they didn't whine" and they "got to work and helped each other" instead of "depending on the government" - and it's been coming from a lot more places than just Trent Lott lately. Makes me just want to inflict some short term agony on somebody.

7. I've read of people here talking about what a jackass Glen Beck is,
but I saw it firsthand tonight. He was using the 'whining' talking points. Horrible person. :grr:

8. Rockey Vaccarella
got the same memo from Rove and Mehlman, apparently:
http://thinkprogress.org/?tag=Katrina

"Today on Fox, Rocky said that victims of the Hurricane should stop “sitting around and complaining” about the Bush administration and instead “be thankful for what we got.”
