Fox News spin: increasing violence proof Iraq gov't stronger - huh?
Only in the bizarre world of Fox's Neil Cavuto could a surge of violence in Iraq be twisted into positive news. My favorite moment:

“…and we’ve got 70,000 American and Iraqi troops in Baghdad. But just remember this, the density of law enforcement in Baghdad, police and military, is only about twice that of New York City.” - General Bob Scales, retired

Did he mention New York City has a population over 8 million and Baghdad’s is well under 6 million? Okay, a difference of over 2 million is insignificant. Probably equally insignificant as the fact the average police officer in New York City doesn’t carry an M-16, wear full body armor, and envy his fellow officers riding in the M-1 tank. Minor points, really. ;)

On a serious note, thousands of New York City police offiers haven't died in the last few years either.

1. Fox "News"; I wonder why 80% of their viewers are misinformed...

And most of all I wonder why the hell these idiots would continue watching after they learn how conned/tricked/duped/mislead they've been.

Idiots.

2. There is some difference in thinking about police in society
One can hardly think of a city in the Middle East as a Western city. After all it is not the same society. Half our problems are we do not understand them in the first place. The person that walks around a city in say US, Germany or England would see in about 5 min. it is not like walking around a city in the Middle East. And that is only a surface difference. One can understand why we were in such trouble in Vietnam and the Middle East. 'why aren't they more like me' Right?I would hate to be in NYC if it was policed by people from Iraq also.

4. Well central governments do come about through force
If most or all resisters were never killed, what government would exist today?
