Would anyone like free tickets to go to a TN Democratic Party Picnic?
Labor Day Celebration
Davidson County Democratic Party will join four other counties and many local labor unions in co-sponsoring the annual event at the Charles Hand Farm in Robertson County.
Saturday, September 9th

Gates open at 2 pm
Live Music and picnic style meal
Speakers include State AFL-CIO President Jerry Lee, Governor Phil Bredesen, and U.S. Senate Candidate-Congressman Harold Ford, Jr.
Individual tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at the DCDP headquarters at 1808 West End Avenue Suite 107
Since Davidson County is a host county, we are recruiting volunteers for the event as well. If you are interested in volunteering for an hour to serve food or to clean up afterwards, please let us know. (Food serving from 5-6 p.m. and Clean up from 7-9 p.m.). Email us or call us at 321-5777
(Directions: I-24 at Exit 19, 30 minutes northwest of Nashville. Entrance road is about 200 yards north of I-24, directly across from BP Truck Stop; look for special signs

2. rfranklin, money is tight right now, so can't afford airfare SORRY
I get free tickets each year to this event. Since I'm a social worker with senior citizens I usually take several seniors every year. But, this year I'm really excited because I have more younger folks (20 and 30 yr olds) planning on attending.
