It's not the economy, stupid
It's Al Queida, stupid. That ought to be the new dem message whenever Repubs bring up Iraq and the war on terror. It's not Iraq, it's Al Queida, stupid!

and of course this ain't 1992! and of course, it's actually Iraq, Stoopid.....and it's the also the fact that Osama is still out there...somewhere or nowhere (hell, we don't really know)!

And also, once the Chinese start to squeeze us, when we start hollering about War with Iran...then yeah...it will be the Economy too--Stoopid!

4. Actually I prefer the formulation, it's Osama stupid
which has the advantage of pointing out he is still at large.

5. Valid point
I think I'll have to change the tactic. And to the individual who pointed me toward the freepers, thanks, but no thanks. I'll keep my Yellow Dogtags.

6. I think you're absolutely correct
Didn't I hear Max Cleland say the same thing ("it's al Qaeda stupid") several times on Maher's show last Friday, in response to Hitchens' ravings?

7. Good, but how can stupid people follow that logic?
They are too stupid to think and reason. They could never figure that logic. All they can think is Iraq is a hellhole and we need to stay there or they will follow us here when we don't keep them busy/engaged over there. That makes sense to stupid people.
