Can Bush read ?
Can Bush read ?
After hearing the President say he read Camus, McBeth,
and whatever else he has claimed...

SO i bounced on a few blogs....
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-cesca/no-way-in-hell-president-_b_27926.html
http://blogs.kansas.com/weblog/2006/08/what_bush_read_.html
saying he read 60 books this year !?

Now, ive long known the guy is a few synapses short of a real brain,
but i thought he at least had "basic" reading skills.

then i went to the whitehouse website, where i found a video of our Pres
"READING" a childeredns book.

Problem is , he appeared as though he couldnt.

I tried to get a screenshot to show, but cant,
so you will have to look at the video.

Bush starts reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas"
He hands the book to his wife saying he "cant see it"
but its a childerens book, and when she turns the book around,
the letters are big as day!

Either our president cant read,
or hes blind as a BAT !
Didnt he fly planes, get his vision checked etc ???

was entertaining enough. Would have loved anyone to ask the buffoon what 3 "Shakespeares" meant.

5. Silly question
Is it possible he is functionally illiterate? 60 books in 6 months? How many on DUers read that many?( I don't, though read hundreds of articles a month)

6. And if he did, he can't possibly be doing anything else
Two and half books a week doesn't leave much time for governing. What an asshole. :puke:

2. Even more chilling.
Was when he asked the kids if they wanted to hear a Christmas Story, and after being met with a sort of lackluster response the chimp told the kids :

"Well ya better like it. 'Cos that's what's gonna happern hehehehe"

3. O.K. You are asking me if a person who can't construct a simple
sentance can read. Maybe he can, maybe he can;t. I think the more important question is "can he comprehend what he reads?". IMHO, he barely gets the pet goat! He sure as fuck does not get existentialisim. The man is a Moran! How the fuck do you think he understands complex differences in existence?

7. Sure Bush can read! - at a third grade level
He can read Camus and McBeth.
That is impressive because McBeth is a SIX letter word!

8. DUH, Ya'll never heard tell of talking books?
I hear they are real good at putting you to sleep and since Shrib goes to bed so early he's probably reading them in his sleep.
