Repub. Gov. Ehrlich raised taxes by $3 BILLION in Maryland!
So much no more taxes read my lips etc.? What a sneak Ehrlich is?


Ehrlich has placed $3 billion in new taxes, tolls and fees on the backs of Maryland families and small businesses.

The state property tax increased by 58% ($780 million over 4 years)
The car tax went up by 58% for cars and 66% for SUVs ($520 million)
Corporate filing fees rose by $190 million
The flush tax will cost $155 million
Transportation tolls went up by $300 million
When other taxes and fees are added, Marylanders will pay $3.3 billion in new taxes during Ehrlich’s four years in office [Dept. Of Legislative Services - Pages 27-30 of Issue Papers 2006 Legislative

My grandfather came from Ireland, my father always said that St. Patrick was a saint because
he drove all the snakes out of Ireland, too bad we can't do that here, I can think of a "few"
snakes on a campaign trail that we should drive out.
