November 2006 elections are about to happen. We The People must take every opportunity to hold the GOP accountable. A way to do this is to win at the polls. A way to win is to follow a simple approach suggested by Robert J. Elisberg.

---- We already know that the economic fortunes of lower- and middle-class America have emerged as a potentially decisive issue in the upcoming midterms. And while Bush's Big Oil buddies are busily lowering gas prices to give the GOP a perceived lift, it still stands that the economy is only "hummng" for the most affluent. This would be a decisive issue in any election in years past.

---- But it takes a little effort,.. democrats need to do their homework. Get to the bottom of those deceptively-mild unemployment figures. Preach the drop in real income from the highest pulpits. Use a Perot-esque approach to illustrate the real dangers of the gargantuan debt being accumulated by the Bush administration. The War on the Middle Class is real, for Christ's sake. Use it.
