I've been sparring with some witless fools over at olbermanwatch.com, and after suffering what felt like endless ad-hominem attacks in lieu of any kind of cogent or reasoned argument from them, I finally asked a question that they couldn't answer. No snarky come-backs, or insulting nicknames followed after I insisted on an answer to this:
Explain how Iraq is a win, or how it's ultimately going to be a win for the USA.
Simple one, but it seems to have actually stumped them.

"stay the course" kinds of plattitudes. "Stand down when they stand up".
What kills me is that they don't know when they're being given such obviously circular rhetoric as manna.

SOMETIMES, being a Former Rush Limbaugh Fan gives me insights and allows me to anticipate how people think.

Fighting the terrorists in Iraq has suceeded in stopping attacks on the USA, unless you can list any terrorist attacks on the US since we started the war in Iraq.
Of course, world wide terrorism is UP, we are LESS safe (according to 9/11 commissioner Tom Keane) etc., etc.
I'm just posting this because you may not stump the next Rethug you spring this on...

This totally stumps them. When they actually do try and come up with something it's usually "Bush said Saddam was evil" or something simularly simple and stupid.
