Wes Clark appeared on Fox News with Neil Cavuto this afternoon and did a brilliant job of swatting away all of the shit the screwball Cavuto tried to throw at him. He opened with "The attack on 9/11 occurred on the President's watch" and got better from there...Really most excellent.

5. EVERYTHING BAD ..that has happened to the U.S. happened under Bush

9/11, skyrocketing gas/fuel prices, Katrina, immigation HEADACHES....to name a few. It's ALL Bush's fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. The anthrax scares were MIHOP.

It benefited the pharmaceutical companies, who are big Bush supporters.

It helped keep the nation terrified just as the shock of 9/11 was beginning to wear off and people started returning to "normal" lives.

It helped support the argument for attacking Iraq (this was one of the biological weapons they supposedly had).

And, do you really think a terrorist is going to target a tabloid??? No...who does the tabloid target, i.e., who does the scare target? Average Joe American. The man or woman who sees The Sun at the grocery store check-stand every week - and is therefore reminded of the "attack" every week.

Why has there been absolutely no progress in finding out anything on these attacks? We know absolutely nothing at all on them - do you think that's really possible in this day and age? Considering it was a manufactured form of anthrax (meaning someone had to make it somewhere as opposed to the kind that does occur in nature), I don't see how that's feasible.

I'm NOT one to buy into conspiracy theories easily - I don't support about 99% of the ones I see here on DU. However, this I have thought since about the third day of the "anthrax attacks."

that everyone (after contacted ABC and tell them to drop the piece of crap propoganda farce) call up their local talk radio show and ask how Bush has made us safer from the Anthrax terrorist attacks.

Bin Laden hasn't been brought to justice, no one has been charged with the Anthrax attacks, Port Security hasn't changed in five years and yet somehow having our men and women getting killed in Iraq is making us safer?

To say we haven't been attacked since 9/11 is a flat out lie, and any one who is not completely isolated from the outside world remembers Anthrax. Is there no one who will stand up and call them on this fact??????
