because I never got it. I never understood the Bush administration link to 9/11 to invading Iraq. Yes a case could maybe made to send troops to Iraq with possible WMD, the overthrow over Saddam, and a stabilization of some of the Middle East, however, not because of the attack on 9/11.

I'm dismayed at the fact that the administration did not see that Iran posed a bigger threat than Iraq. We are wasting resources, time, and lives of troops to our own insurgency of a country that never posed a clear and present danger to the U.S.

This being said the flashing neon Republican sign will go out and the plug will be pulled on the Republicans on Capitol hill for backing a failed policy toward the war in Iraq. The numbers will change and may even be big in November.

jr saw Iraq as the ultimate low hanging fruit. They saw an opportunity post 9/11 and they seized it.

and control Iraq. Iraq has vast oil reserves and the BFEE couldn't stand Saddam selling that oil for Euros.
