Unhappy Freeps: "Exonerate Clinton while Bush is left holding the bag..."
Comments posted in response to the Freep thread "Robert Iger (ABC President) Political Donations List" (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1697602/posts}:

From what I have read and understand, the movie puts blame on both Clinton and Bush. So if they edit out stuff that is critical of Clinton that only leaves Bush. This is starting to look like what the plan was from the very beginning... Create a movie that spreads blame but at the last moment edit it and thereby de facto exonerate Clinton while Bush is left holding the bag and ABC fills its pockets with gold that they can continue to contribute to Democrats and RINO's.

1. Waaa the buck stops here waaaa
Last time I looked, Stupid was presidunce when we got attacked. Stupid had downgraded efforts to stop al qaeda. Stupid was warned about 9-11. Stupid and his gang of clowns were determined to have an enabling incident to Get Their War On, and 9-11 happened. It is that simple. It is that obvious. It is the 500 pound gorilla in the living room.

2. It's a subtle point.
Edited on Fri Sep-08-06 06:22 AM by Kutjara
I can understand the Freep's confusion, because the point he fails to grasp is very very subtle: The reason why Clinton isn't to blame for 9/11 and Bush is, is that...and here's where it gets tricky...Bush was President when it happened and Clinton wasn't. I know it's a very nebulous philosophical argument, but it's important to understand.

Perhaps an analogy might help the freeps. If I drive a car all day and don't crash it, then my friend gets into it and plows into a lamppost, I'm not the one who crashed the car. He is. See?

3. great analogy, Kutjara
The reason Clinton isn't to blame is because it happened on Bush's watch. It's just that simple.

7. 9/11 is not bush's fault because
he was only in office for 8 months but the first bombing in '93 was Clinton's fault because he had been in office for an entire month. Get it?

11. My favorite rebuttal to this talking point is...
...to remind said FreepTard that if Clinton was responsible for 9-11 then Poppy Bush was responsible for the '93 attack on the WTC, correct?

That's when the "but...but...but..." starts... ;)

8. Clinton wasn't to blame
...because he did everything in his power to stop OBL and the Republican Congress and Senate blocked his (and Gore's) every move.

4. Whats really scary
This moran actually believes this shit somewhere in their tiny mind:

Create a movie that spreads blame but at the last moment edit it and thereby de facto exonerate Clinton while Bush is left holding the bag

Those wacky freepers.
They never fail to make comments that are too stoopit, on too many levels, to even begin trying to argue with. :eyes:
