Talent refers to ex-president by new moniker: “Hillary Clinton’s husband”
“As you’ve probably seen in the news, national Democrats have their eyes on retaking the majority in the Senate and they have their sights on Missouri,'’ Talent says in his latest email to potential donors.

“..In fact, just next week my opponent, Claire McCaskill, will share the stage with Hillary Clinton’s husband. McCaskill has already embraced the help of John Kerry, Barbara Boxer, John Edwards and her personal “hero” Howard Dean - but sharing the stage with Bill Clinton shows just how far she’ll go to carry the banner for the Washington liberals….”

Hoping to exploit misogyny and of course hatred of everything liberal, they're also trying to cast her as too outspoken. Oddly enough, it would take a pretty creative stretch of the imagination to actually call her "liberal." This is Missouri, after all.

1. And they want us to respect Bush as president?
Respect the office if not the man they always say.

2. How sad for talent
Claire strikes me as the kind who would whip his ass in the public square. sounds like talent is getting awfully desperate. Maybe he should bring in bush to counter Hillary's husband. Obviously Claire is proud of her husband.

3. There ya go
"Claire strikes me as the kind who would whip his ass in the public square."
That's exactly why the called him Hillary Clinton's Husband. They want to transfer the perceptions of Hillary to Claire who is already perceived as a strong woman.
There are few worse things a politician can be in MO.
Catherine Hanaway (former Republican majority leader) really gave women a bad reputation by blurring the line between assertive and aggressive.
