My letter to CBS re: Couric/Bush
Thank you for helping me decide what Network Nightly News program to watch. After Miss Couric's nauseatingly lightweight interview with President Bush, I now know not to waste my time with CBS.

If I want news with greater substance and someone who'll take the opportunity to ask a man as (seemingly) important as the President the necessary hard questions -- and not just reserve those for the occasional Democrat -- during these difficult times for our country, I'll look elsewhere.

If I want a bubbly personality with no substance and a breathtaking ability to kiss Presidential/GOP Butt, I know where to turn.

2. Never really watch the Network News anymore
The 'Net and "Countdown" give me more info on the world than Gibson, Brian Williams, and Couric dole out nightly combined. I wonder if it was CBS' idea to purposely make their Evening News as bland as the "Today" show. It is slightly indicative of Network News as a whole. Gut out all forms of news for whipped creamed crap jammed down our throats.

5. Welcome to DU
I watch a network snooze show to see what's going out to 'Murika as "mainstream."

I get my news at DU.
