Am I Nuts..Selfish..Arrogant..
In all due reality being hammered with phoney speaches and propoganda everyday for the last three weeks......the continued denial that the facts for us in Iraq were twisted....REPUKES that can only run on TERROR TERROR and more TERROR because they dont have a good economy to run on........Frankly it has be burned out and energized at the same time.
I guess what I am saying is that Ill never forget...being a progressive Christian I look at 9/11 like I do Christmas.......I remember the sacrifices each and everyday......9/11 will never be forgotten by any of us who still remember that day.
The best way we can remember/honor 9/11 is to hold our elected REPS accountable that it never happens again and become educated on the facts and lies that have been told about this tragic event and not be afraid to speak up when people speak the * partyline where ever we are whether it be a the Bank on a Plane or at the checkout at the store...people must see that there are TRUTH WARRIORS and that some are awake.
Again.....Am I Nuts..Selfish..Arrogant..

1. I will not watch any commemorations. |
|
I will remember in my own way and celebrate my birthday. I don't need any media mongrels telling me how to remember 9-11-01.

3. I so agree. I remember the day Kennedy was assassinated, |
|
even though I was only 3.
I remember the shock and sadness that came over my mother's face when her best friend called with the news.
I so remember the horror of 9/11, too, and I want to keep it personal. How sad that some feel the need to wallow in such a horror and tragedy.

2. Our county manager actually told us to wear red, white and blue tomorrow |
|
We received an email about it and were told about it in a department meeting as well. "In support of our country." Oh, and she said it would be even better if we would somehow display our flag.
Our flag. What Bushco has done to OUR flag, to OUR country, is inexcuseable.
I'm wearing my Statue of Liberty shirt, happens to have black sleeves. Somehow I will refrain from wearing my full Liberty costume with the anti-* signs I've made to the office. But I tell ya, I'm mighty tempted.

4. Catapult the propaganda |
|
Totalitarian movements are in your face, insulting, anti-rational appeals to the weak fear ridden mind of the crowd.
It's a crescendo of crap.

5. I'm with you... it's overblown |
|
I pretty much hate sentimentality, and revelling in sorrow does no one any good. I know why they're doing this crap...the repubs think emotions will carry them to victory. Great....worse though is why we go along????
