CAIRO, Egypt - A videotape posted on the Internet late Sunday, purportedly by al-Qaida, showed previously unseen footage of a smiling Osama bin Laden and other commanders in a mountain camp apparently planning the Sept. 11 attacks on New York and Washington.

Bush has words for ABC's 9/11 film

President Bush weighed in today on the ABC docudrama The Path to 9/11, which some Clinton administration officials say distorts their actions leading up to Sept. 11, 2001.

Bush's issue? He wants to make a prime time, Sept. 11 speech Monday at 9:01 p.m. ET, the start of the final hour of the five-hour program that begins Sunday and runs free of commercials. All the networks were asked to interrupt their programming for 16 to 18 minutes. ABC did not immediately say what it will do.

1. Not that I really GAS, but did the other networks respond with a yes?

I don't intend to listen to HIM or to watch that movie. I didn't watch the first part and I'm sure not going to watch the second. I've been reading many posts here on DU, and theWill Pitt post was mind boggeling. It takes a long time to read all the links, but just WOW!

2. We should all be calling our affiliates and demanding

they report the truth. on the news after the show!You can find your affiliate numbers on ABC.com. Tell them you demand to be told the truth, and which parts of the show are bogus.

This is kind of what I said.

I would absolutely HATE Richard Clarke, Sandy Burger, Bill Clinton if what YOU just told ME and millions of others is true! Your "official story" "How it happened" I will protest them, campaign against them, and call them anti- American.
Please let me know.
Or is it Disney and ABC (and the far right producers of this show) that are lying, HATE mongering, anti-American cowards?
I have a right and need to know the truth.
