Ronald Reagan
And the damage he did to this country. He put into thought the rich were Godly and the poor were lazy asses. He dumped the mentally sick onto the sidewalks much as Cubans did in their boats to America.

He said pretty words while wrecking what our country stood for. Christian, caring, and wishing to take care of the needy. He upset this where the rich deserved the praise and the poor were spit upon. That is the legacy of Ronald Reagan.

1. AND, he put U.S. Marines in danger unnecessarily in Lebanon...
with no mission and no strategic plan
like bush, he assumed that the warring parties would throw down their weapons when the Marines arrived.

instead, there was a truck bomb and nearly 300 Marines were killed.
a month later, Reagan pulled them out.

THAT is what gave Bin Laden and his ilk the idea that the U.S. would 'cut and run' if hit hard.
Thanks, Ronnie.

10. Ronnie instituted a program called MGM.
I'm still reaping the benefits, and passing them on to those less fortunate than I

3. He ushered in the current era of American History
The country was teetering on the edge, and it has been since the turmoil of the 1960s and the assassination of many good leaders, but Reagan assured America would enter the current era it finds itself in. Clinton simply represented a pause in the movement, but GWB assured the slide would continue.

One day, this nation will dissolve like the USSR, and it wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the dischord and amplified division they helped foster in the US. I'm predicting the dissolution sometime within this century. (94 year timeframe)

"A house divided against itself cannot stand," said Abraham Lincoln.

5. Yes, Reagan brought hate and military might as a solution
He told kids that being a bully is good and that war is good.

7. The Butcher of Central America
Reagan killed tens of thousands in El Salvador, Nicaragua and Guatemala rather than do the right thing and admit that the issue there was poverty, not "communist subversion".

9. I'm no fan of Reagan
In fact, I despise him.

But even in the 1980's, the Bush family was the real culprit. I really believe they were behind the assassination attempt on Reagan.

12. Reagan?
Isnt he that lousy actor? I read someplace that he was thinking of running for governor of California ... like yeah right, like the people of California would be stupid enough to vote some clown actor in as governor ... that will be the day.

13. He was a B grade actor who was proped up by powerful....
corporate interests and the "Christian" Fundamentalists. While I agree that Reagan ushered in an era of conservative terror, you must remember that the Bush's were and are the real power players behind it.
