The Anglo-American empire’s 9/11 atrocity: criminality’s zenith

http://onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/article_1187.shtml

Five years ago, on September 11, 2001, the George W. Bush administration and its allies and functionaries carried out the spectacular mass murder of 3,000 US citizens, establishing the pretext to unleash an unprecedented worldwide rampage of criminality, and a permanent war of conquest (the manufactured “war on terrorism”) that continues to escalate.

Five years later, the planners, operatives and beneficiaries of the 9/11 murders, led by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, remain unpunished, their hubris undimmed, as they plan new campaigns of destruction, in the name of the original criminal act that they themselves carried out.

Five years later, in the wake of its 9/11 atrocity, the Bush administration has transformed the world into a literal hell.

Criminals occupy the top positions of power. The annihilation and conquest of nations, the cleansing of entire populations, and torture, are official policy. Criminal covert operations explode on a daily basis throughout the world, carried out (and blamed on) by “terrorists” created, guided and controlled by intelligence apparatuses (CIA, Pakistan ISI, “Al-Qaeda," Osama, etc.) beholden to no authority. Corruption poisons the fabric of modern society. The Constitution, a memory. Laws are broken. Or they are simply gutted and rewritten by the criminals themselves (giving them eternal power). Elections, routinely manipulated to begin with, are openly seized by force. America is a police state. Central Asia and the Middle East, in flames. The public is controlled with propaganda, distortion, and cover-up (while purveyors of truth, whistleblowers and investigative journalists are targeted for intimidation and assassination. All this, courtesy of Bush’s 9/11.

This reign of terror is criminality’s triumph.

Bush-Cheney: guilty beyond any reasonable doubt

1. That's the kind of thing I expected to read five years ago.
Wow. I suppose this is another one of those less than respected websites. But even if, it was like candy to my eyes.

Have a photoshop!

2. Don't think I've ever seen it all summed up so succinctly and well.
Still reading the article but wanted to express my thanks for your posting it!

As a "brevity-challenged" writer myself, I so much admire those who can wrap up in a powerful but explicitly elegant few words what it takes me many paragraphs (or pages) to say! This article is spot-on in that respect and apparently many others.

I do think we're nearing the time when the "common knowledge" acceptance of this criminal administration's guilt and gawdawfulness I've predicted we'd see someday is almost upon us -- and it's about time! Seems it's getting to where I hardly ever hear anyone speak out in support of the Chimp and his cohorts in crime anymore....

But we can't sit back and rest now -- far from it! Carry on, fellow patriots and others who simply want our country back and wish to see the thugs put in their proper place. And yes, I do mean prison; but I also mean a "Hall of Shame" for those whose criminal involvement cannot be prosecuted and proven. (Has anyone begun such a list already? I haven't seen one but would like to....)

Strange how much more optimistic I feel with the weight on my mind and heart getting lighter by tiny bits every day, every week, every month. I never was the sort of person to either seek vengeance or yammer "I told ya so" at people I've known who were proven wrong when undeniable facts came out. That's just not how I'm constituted innately ... I prefer to "judge not" unless there is very good cause to take action and stop continuing abuses and harm.

But I've felt more vengeful urgings in the last five years than in all my 52 years before the Coup of 2000. I still resist them, but they're very strong at times.

And I am still having a very difficult time forgiving some of the fundies I know and other duped idiots or stubborn Chimpy fans who have helped to bring our country and the world to such a sorry state as it is in today. My best friend's family (not him, but his family) are fundies; and in spite of how good they are to my pal when he needs it the most, I find it so hard to stop taking verbal potshots at them for what they've helped to bring about in our government. I voice my outrage to him and not to them directly because they're out of state and hardly know who I am. I also know Jay is doing his best to wake them up, with some faint signs of very slow and minimal progress in that effort.

But I'll never be able to truly and totally forgive all those who, duped or not, have facilitated and enabled the criminals still in charge in our country as they continue to forward their evil enterprises on every front. Vengeance may be "the lord's," but by all that's right, real, and decent in the world, we are all owed at least a fundamental level of f'ing JUSTICE!
