The greatest trick the devil pulled was convincing people he didn't exist |
|
The Republican Party represents about 0.01% of America. It represents the execs running the drug and oil companies and the execs of the defense contractors.
Keyser Sose said, "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing people he didn't exist". Well, the devil's trick doesn't even come close to the trick pulled by the GOP on America.
Lying America down a path of destruction, both from attack from terrorists and also from economic collapse (should the war machine funding dry up, the economy will collapse as that's what is keeping things going)
If you love this country, vote to remove one-party totalitarianism in November.

But, where do you get your 0.01% figure? It's obviously not so. My neighborhood alone represents that amount. They are still sporting their damn Bush stickers on their cars. Two neighbors have signs in their yards saying something about supporting Bush & Troops.
So, where did you get that number?

2. Those people aren't truly represented by the GOP. They just think that. |

Those people are crapped on just like the rest of us. Think of one of them loses a job and loses healthcare that the GOP will give a shit or fight for them?
Hence the reference to that quote.

4. But where did you get that number? |

It makes me not take the rest of your post seriously.
But, I do love the title. Kudos there.

Just wanting to know where that number came from. |
|
That's all.
A link would be great, but if you don't have it handy, just tell me where you found that number. :)

3. I basically agree with the .01% figure. Your neighbors may support Bush |
|
but that doesn't mean that he "represents" them. Bush represents the truly elite and everything else is just smoke and mirrors.

6. The elite = the upper class = wealthy. |
|
He does represent them!! And they represent much more than 0.01%.
You should have seen this area during the elections, the Bush signs were EVERYWHERE. Only one other neighbor had a Kerry sign. That made two of us. :(
