Children do not get homework assignments because |
|
liberal academia does not want there to be any interaction between parent and child. That's what I got from my five minutes a month of limbaugh today. Also a dumbfuck bitch said Clinton was a proven liar and a coward who cut intel funding and bush protected us by using the intel available to him.
I drove down the road while ago to top the truck off with gas for my big trip to the pinning ceremony and was listening to the drug crazed cowardly liar.
Oh, limbaugh also said that by gawd there was no lack of parental interaction in his by gawd household. Is limbaugh, being the typical conservative, blaming his parents for his pathetic education and lack of a college degree (a proud hallmark of republicans)? If you can stand a few minutes every now and then limbaugh will prove my assertion that he lacks any substantive knowledge of anything.

4. Hi frazzled, and welcome to DU |
|
About five minutes a month for me and it is always related to a trip to town. I can't get Air America in my truck and limbaugh is on a station, which otherwise has good local (New Orleans) programming.

I just don't understand that. Why doesn't somebody sue that little rat bastard for slander?

|
She brings home a load of books every night and spends several hours each night of the week working on "homework" Oh and in case rush isn't high yet, I help her when she needs it.

6. The kids I have seen look like they are going freakin' camping |
|
They have bookbags that are bigger than they are.
Rush obviously doesn't get out much- from everything I have heard half the work is done at home because they don't have enough time to cover the facts they need to memorize for the standardized tests anyway. Hell they cut ou PE class for many of the schools- Rush surely blames that on the "no dodgeball crowd"

9. My daughter gets TONS of homework, and her bookbag |
|
weighs as much as her 6yo brother. I'd love Rush to see some of her assignments. Let's see. Her social studies syllabus this year reads: The Constitution and Bill of Rights, Cold War, Vietnam, the Civil Rights movement, AND....Middle Eastern and Oil politics.
I'm gonna have some fun helping her this year :). And of course, I told her she has more the 90,000 "aunts & uncles" on DU if we get really stumped on something.

teaching kids about the constitution, bill of rights, the civil rights movement - nothing but liberal poison. Those are the last things "conservatives" want our kids to know about
And I'd be proud to be Unca Bosshog!

And apparently he can't get anyone to marry him without a pretty locksolid prenup agreement. But there is always those field trips to the Dominican Republic, Viagra in hand. Its pretty obvious that he and his listeners didn't spend much time with homework and have little use for continuing education today.

That's a ridiculous notion.
IMO, kids today receive far more homework than 20 years ago especially within Junior High School.

12. I love how the dumbest fucks out there... |

... who know nothing about education or what goes on in a classroom feel free to make the biggest, most sweeping generalizations possible about how terrible it is.
It strikes me that Limpballs thinks that public educators have that much influence over parent/child interaction. As if parents are incapable of interacting with children unless the teachers give them a reason. What kind of parent is that far removed from their child. Maybe these "parents" should take an active role in their child's life instead of sitting on their ass watching tv.
