Most of the polls I've seen of late still show Corker with a slight edge, but that edge seems to be shrinking over time. My only regret is that Tenn is in for one hell of a dirty campaign. It will worth it, though, if Ford can pull this one off.

He's responding to Corker's false claims very quickly, which is both refreshing and encouraging. And so far he hasn't really had to attack Corker personally yet, just attacking Corker's lies about him, which means he can claim the high ground on campaign civility. Sure, it's not much in the grand scheme of things, and we've got a long way to go, but I'll take any advantage and bit of encouraging news I can get!

I don't watch too much TV but everytime I turn it on, there's an attack ad against Ford. If Ford is coming out ahead or about even in the midst of this blitz, then he is in good shape. If Ford can destroy Corker in the debate, I think that he will be able to pull this thing out.
