Local elections are important if you are concerned about vote counting |

Any one concerned about vote counting needs to pay attention to your local elections as well as the national elections and big issues.
The Secretaries of State, Governors, County Commissioners, elected judges (in elected judge states) are the people that determine what happens to votes. We have to think this way. There is no quick fix. I think we have made progress (50 State Strategy) in the short time Howard has been party chair.
I noted that Kerry is campaigning for Angelides this week -- Kind of funny to think of big old California as a local election but it is--the world really is shrinking!

1. When the Polls close in your town...BE THERE ! WATCH THE COUNTING! |
|
EVERYONE should take about an hour in the evening....go down to the polling places and WATCH the votes be counted. Be witnesses for the truth. It's our legal right and our duty to be there to confirm accurate vote counts. Know who the people are who are working at the voting places. Get involved. Volunteer to be a poll worker. IF you vote absentee....make sure those ballots are counted too.
