A lot of people don't have time for all this "political" bullshit... |
|
Because the "politicians" are all the same anyway.
They've gotta go to Walmart and get some charcoal and some burgers and hotdogs. They've got a trip planned to go to the lake this weekend. They gotta get the battery charged for their "water scooter". Gotta get some beer...a couple of cases oughta be enough. Gotta remember to take the charger for the minature TV so we can watch Junior race..if he wins, he'll be back in the top 5. Then they gotta be back home by 8:00 tomorrow night so they can watch Survivor - they wanna see how those white people do against all those other races of people. That oughta be interesting...Then they gotta get up at 6 AM on Tuesday and go back to work. They never have time for none of this "political" bullshit.

1. That's the importance of talk radio. What they hear as they're driving. |
|
I wish a liberal billionaire would get "Air America Radio" onto FM in every big city in the US.

for anything. Finding insightful information regarding national politics is no easy feat. It takes time. I'm tired of blaming people for being human beings, and doing what they need for they and theirs to survive. The fact that there have been warnings about what is now happening since the days of Thomas Jefferson requires pointing the finger at an awful lot of people. Isn't it more the nature of man that got us here? The obvious next in capatalism? What is it that you would have these people do? Quit their job, sell their home, leave their children, and what...blow themselves up in front of the White House? Would that be good?

6. Most of the people I know |

dont care about politics unless it directly affects their own lives. OH, they may say "OH MY" when they see those awful A G photos but for the most part, they are too busy to notice. They vote based on a minute handful of issues....many of them based on lies. Things are too easy for the majority of americans for them to care. Unfortunate, but true. I dont know what it will take to change their attitude.
