1. Does anyone know anyone who wants H. Clinton |
|
to run in 2008? I don't. I think the Clintons are in for a rude awakening.

4. Well, I'd consider voting for her. Guess this is the 4,384,912th thread on |
|
Hillary Clinton running for president. (I will definitely vote Democratic NO MATTER who ends up on the ticket.) There are plenty of Dems who won't vote for her, there are plenty who will. I just don't understand why we have to keep dividing ourselves this early in the game. We will have plenty of time after the mid-terms to get into knock down drag outs over Hillary and the rest of the Dems who are running. The only people who are obsessing over the Hillary question are people who wouldn't vote for her if she was the only person left in the country. Why do we continue to do KKKarl's dirty work for him?
We are Dems - we pride ourselves in thinking independently, and we shouldn't care who says what about a candidate - we will vote our hearts, brains and patriotism no matter what someone on TV says. The talking airheads are pushing Hillary for completely selfish reasons - and it has nothing about working towards a better world.
Was it W. C. Fields who said, "I don't belong to any organized political party - I'm a Democrat!?" As funny (and often true) that is we need to circle the wagons, get our sh*t together and save this country. Today the mid-terms, November 8th - let the battles begin.
That said, count me as one who would happily vote for Hillary.

5. just for the record ... |

the quote you cited was not from WC Fields; it was said by Will Rogers ...
WC Fields did offer this piece of wisdom, however: ""Horse sense is the thing a horse has which keeps it from betting on people."

7. Thanks I was bouncing back and forth between W. C. Fields and |
|
Will Rogers. Thanks for setting me straight.
Have you ever noticed that truly funny people are always Dems? Where to repugs go to get their sense of humor removed?
