Randy "Shotgun" Kuhl has shot both barrels
With both a Bush and Cheney visit. And both have missed the mark..

3. Upstate NY
I'm not sure what else the post is about but Randy Kuhl is an upstate NY Rep. who has a checkered past & should be ripe for the taking. I don't think he won by much in his first run 2 yrs ago.

4. Yes, Eric Massa is running against him.
This is a seat that Democrats have a real chance to steal away from the Republicans. Eric is a great candidate, a former Navy Commander highly critical of Bush, and a great guy to boot. He blogs at Kos virtually every week and is one of their designated "grassroots endorsed" candidates. Eric can use as much help as people have to give him, a Massa victory is critical to our retaking the House, plus it would get someone who truly respects the grassroots into the House of Representatives.

5. Check this DU thread for a blog by Democratic Candidate Eric Massa
I think it will answer just about all of your questions about the race in this district:

6. Here's the link to Massa's website
http://www.massaforcongress.com/

I've met Eric a few times. He really is a GREAT guy and worthy of any help we can give him. Plus, he's pretty much the one who started the "Fighting Dems" organization, with the intention of providing some sort of unified Democratic effort to strike back against swiftboating. He'll be in PA next week with Jack Murtha for that very reason.

I saw an article about Cheney being up in Rochester and raising a shitload of money for Kuhl, and I think I remember seeing a photo of Kuhl and Bush a couple months ago, so I would guess that's what the OP is referring to.
