Santorum flunky Green kicked off ballot in PA
http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/news/103-09252006-717983.html

Considering that most of his signatures were collected by Santorum campaign workers, this is probably all the proof we need that the Greens are simply another arm of the Repuke party.

But this is a very good thing.

2. This is a delight!
Anything to help Rick make himself look like more of an idiot is welcome in my opinion. I'm sure that his proxies will issue a statement decrying the draconian restrictions to ballot access, and they'll try to frame it as the work of an activist judge who hopes to silence the Green Party.

Best of luck, Rick--you've been an asshole since long before you took office, and it's clear that you'll be an asshole at least as long as you're in the Senate.

4. Poor Ricky
I'm hoping that for the next month or so before elections, he's experiencing increasing fear, anger, and frustration over nothing going right for him in this campaign, and then on that glorious Tuesday in November, he's kicked to the curb like the mangy dog he is.

These news are even more deliciously ironic in that Rick was trying to make an issue about Casey refusing to debate both Santorum and the green party candidate. Casey and Santorum agreed to 3 debates, and Casey has said there's no reason to debate both at the same time since they're both representing Santorum.

5. Greens are not an arm of the Republican party just because
one Green chose to do a dumb thing, re: taking help from Santorum. At the least, he should have realized that ol' Ricky ain't too bright, and probably neither are his staffers.

That's an overbroad conclusion.

6. Excellent News, Sir
The fact is that the Green Party organization is, viewed objectively, a sort of "left auxiliary" of the Republican Party, and owes to that organization the bulk of its funds and much of its organizational effort. The Republicans do this solely to attempt a division of the left vote, and thus to do damage the electoral strength of the Democratic Party. It is unfortunate some cannot see through their game, and continue to lend some allegiance to these stalking horses, as though they were a genuine expresssion of the left in electoral politics.

8. Good news but you are SO wrong about the greens. the green party
alone with no help from us, went to battle about the stolen election of 2004, and they just got a judge to SAVE the ballots, whihc would have been destroyed. They are our ALLIES. They are good people. Most of them have more guts than most of the dems! (that's us...)

11. DOESN'T THIS UNDERMINE SANTORUM'S ADVERTISING STRATEGY?
I thought the drill was - set up a "debate" with the Green candidate and then run an advertisement saying that Casey wouldn't show up. Even though all of the real debates had been previously scheduled. It's time for the Republican senator to follow all that good free market Republicanism capitalist speak and get off the dole and get a real job.

Edited on Tue Sep-26-06 02:42 AM by ProudDad
just divisive flame bait.

Maybe the repukes ain't so stupid. They only have to have one of their own call himself a 'Green' and you'll go nuts alienating your friends!

Typical democrat circular firing squad action...

(On edit: just because you made a stupid assumption that all Greens are repukes doesn't mean I'm not glad that that lying idiot got thrown off the ballot in Penn.)
