...it took a 16 year old to bring the Foley issue to light.
That is fucking sick.

2. What I've been wondering is what Foley held over their heads? |
|
Or was it just the fear of a pedophile scandal that kept them quiet.
Some of this just doesn't make sense. Yet.

3. And how far up the chain did this knowledge go? |
|
Hastert is #3. Did Cheney or Bush know and approve of the stay-silent strategy?

We're not running against Bush/Cheney right now. Alright, well, sort of we are... but the point is, Hastert is high enough. We need to get the info out nationally that this is what they're getting with a Republican House.

Now I'm really mad. HOW DARE THEY...after all that sanctimonious posturing. That holier-than-thou-my-shit-don't-stink BULLSHIT.
they had a MALE SEDUCER OF YOUNG MEN dead to rights and didn't do a single damned thing.
Dnate had some special Circles of Hell for these guys.
If this were my son, I'd go berserk on them. I'd be ginving interviews to every one who'd listen. I'd be on fucking OPRAH with this, b/c the kid wasn't physically victimized.
And this S.O.B. has the nerve to apologize? Screw him...in fact, maybe if he goes to jail (not likely) that might well happen. I know people here don't approce of that...but you know what...special punishment for special people.

7. Think of the enormity of Hastert's stance |
|
He knew that Foley was sexually harassing children, and protected--not the child--but the harasser.
He is the Speaker of the House! Isn't he third in line for the Presidency?
And the propaganda machine is in full force spinning, limiting the questions, hiding the enormity of the issue from the public.

For Hasdirt to do anything it would have taken an act of integrity, bravery, and real concern about sexual predation.
Get real. Do you think these Bushbots are going to bother?
The Repiglicans ARE PREDATORS--of one kind or another. It's all the same to them. And their arrogance prevents them from seeing this as anything other than a little PR problem.
