The Presidential Oath of Office
The oath to be taken by the president on first entering office is specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
Just a review. Seems clear that protecting the Constitution is the top priority.

2. But...but...but...Bush's job is to protect the 'Murkan people. He's gonna |
|
do that with all of the tools available. If that means gettin' rid of that piece of paper, then that's what he'll do.
He is, after all, a war time president. For him to do his war time presidentin'...that ol' piece of paper has got to go.
