Karl Rove's brain is gonna explode. |
|
I'm really scared his feverish brain will now be in total overdrive trying to come up quickly with some staggering diversion big enough to blast the Foley scandal off the front pages of all the media. Lord, I hope we don't launch another preemptive war. Afterall, they've been itching to go after Iraq. Or watch out for the sudden release of whatever dirt they've got on Democrats from their lovely domestic spying networks.

2. Another war will backfire larger than anybody could imagine. |
|
The people are already tired of Iraq. They *know* that our military is over-extended now. Any adventures in Iran will utterly tip-over what little support is left for these schmucks.
If they attack Iran, we'll take the whole enchilada in November with ease. It's the last thing they want.
No, I'm afraid that we're stuck with the usual attack pieces and campaign dirty tricks. No Bin Laden. No new wars. No terrorist attacks. Just the same ol' bullshit. That's really the only thing they know how to do.

3. Perhaps a raise in the terror alert? |
|
They haven't used that one in a while. I guess we're overdue for a terror scare. :puke:

10. I don't think a mere scare would do it.... |
|
They've fucked themselves good this time. It would have to be an actual attack. I'd stay away from tall buildings, public parks and malls, stadiums, etc. for the next few days. I'm sure ol' kkkarl's trigger finger is twitching already.

6. He'll be thinking how to replace the drop in Christian right voters, |
|
if any really drop. I'm guess an intense attack on the other morality hot points: Clenis, advocates for gay marriage, stem cell research, choice, etc. Some form of agitating the sexually repressed??

"Five weeks is an eternity in politics". Republicans always say that when they blow their cover close to an election.
