He said several times that the first eight months of the Bush Administration have been thoroughly investigated, even by the 9/11 Commission. That is absolutely false. The first 8 months of the Bush Adminsitration were swept under the rug because they did not want the truth to come out because it might weaken us in a time of war. However, by not exposing the first 8 months, it has made us weaker. The facts are that Bush and Condi and the entire Administration ignored all the warnings about terrorism and bin Laden, they had other agendas, and were on vacation an inordinate amount of time. They were negligent.

2. Isn't this report part of what Reid was demanding when he shut

down the Senate back last winter? And then Frist and Specter promised this report would be forthcoming shortly only never to be seen or heard from again? It is my understanding that the 9/11 Commission investigated everything BUT Chucklenuts and Dead Eye's activities (or lack thereof) in the first eight months of the administration - wanted to make this a separate investigation. Surely Frist wouldn't lie to the American people.:sarcasm:

I think the Dems should be hitting hard about another broken promise by the dumbasses in charge. Just another scandal swept under the rug by the repugs. If we made a list of all the scandals that haven't been investigated by the repugs while over a 1,000 subpoenas were issued over Clinton's Christmas card list.
