Mistake, or New Strategy?
I was walking the dog last night, and this fella approached me wearing a devos (R) for governor hat, and he was holding a clip board.

Well, he said cheerfully, tell me what you know about dick devos.

Realizing that he could do nothing to change my mind, nor I his, I decided to attack.

Oh, Isn't he that f$#@ing a$$hol# on tv who lies every time his lips move?

You are awfully rude he said.

Me, I said, you are the obscene one; approaching strangers like this just to spread your filth.

Things just got a little brisk after that. For a moment, I thought I was going to get clobbered with his clip-board. Instead, he took a picture of me with his cell phone, and said he was going to report me to every police agency in Michigan.

I replied "Republican Bastard" and turned to continue walking the dog.

Having worked phone lines myself, I know how crappy it feels to get belted by someone on the other end. It kind of makes one want to stop talking to people. Kind of like what happened to us in 2000.

What do you think? A good strategy to encourage their rodents to stop helping with their campaigns?

1. You should have stopped him from taking the picture.
Slam his phone on the ground if needed. He assaulted you, you have a right to fight back.

6. No you don't have the right to escalate this to a physical assault.
I support jail time for anyone so unhinged that they can't tolerate a political discussion from an opposing party. A photo is not an assault. Anyone who thinks it is needs to be restrained and given mental help.
