I was over there reading what was out on their board. They don't seem to get it. This isn't over whether or not Foley is "gay" but over whether or not he is a pedophile (which the e-mails) certainly seem to support. And why the Republicans would have knowingly covered up for a pedophile.

They seem to be waiting for more info from Hastert's office - like that will clear all of the confusion up.

You know - I think this is really hitting them hard. It is going to be really hard to spin this one.

there are some republicans who are upset about this incident. The hard core republicans will support their members not matter what they do. I can not for the life of me understand why the republicans did not ask Foley to resign a year ago. Just shows how damn dumb they are. IF they had asked him to resign, this would not be out there and they would not be under investigation.

He trusted the voters of Massachusetts to judge him on his merits as a legislator, not on his sexual preference. I give him a lot of credit for that.

a member of their party immediately whereas it took 5 years for any action in the Republican House against Foley !!!!!
