Write your local paper (many attached) *& express outrage w/HASTERT & Cong
Edited on Sun Oct-01-06 02:36 PM by themartyred
THERE SHOULD BE TREMENDOUS OUTRAGE OVER THIS FOLEY SCANDAL BEING COVERED UP and an investigation!

Republican Chris Shays is calling for leaders who knew about disgraced former Congressman Mark Foley's salacious behavior with underaged boys to answer for it and step down. Foley's comments with one of the boys he talked in an extremely perverted manner, included him asking how the boy masturbates and other tawdry comments designed at getting the boy aroused - AND YET the Republican leadership in Congress knew of his inappropriate contact with underaged boys who served at his place of work and did NOTHING and now some are denying they even knew. They must answer for this disgusting betrayal of America's youth being allowed to be served up to this predator, when he should have been asked to resign immediately --- THEY SPENT MILLIONS LOOKING INTO CLINTON'S AFFAIR WITH AN ADULT - THEY SHOULD BE EVEN MORE AGGRESSIVE WITH THIS SINCE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT 15-16 year olds!

Choose some media outlets or politicians in your area, or all, and write them a unique letter with a local address & your name & number & demand this be addressed! ADD LINKS FOR YOUR PAPER IN BIG CITIES OF YOUR STATE, or if you know the web address for your paper you're probably safe adding the word, "editor" or "letters" to the front of a web address for, let's say, The Columbus Dispatch's dispatch.com web address like this letters@dispatch.com

2. Don't fall for the repuke smoke screen
They've been saving this for just such a moment when they could trot out Foley and get your minds off of the fact that they've just STOLEN YOUR 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHTS!!!!!

The LAW will take care of Foley.

You take care of the NATION!!!!

Go ahead and write letters but write them about SOMETHING IMPORTANT!!!!

3. It is not about Foley. It is about Hastert.
While protecting Foley from public disclosure and not firing him, Hastert was holding big public forums here in Illinois about how to protect your children from on-line predators.

Hastert is corrupt from the word go. He is heavily involved with Abramoff and has set up pork earmarks which put money into his own pocket. But nothing seems to stick to him.

This time he was protecting a child predator while advising parents how to keep their kids safe from child predators. This may get the sick thieving bum out.

4. I'm not going to say much about
the acts of Foley, more about the corrupt nature of the House and I will definitely do as you said and add the 1st amm. rights comment.

thank you

5. It would be foolish to pass up this golden opportunity
to hit them where it REALLY counts. Americans are dim bulbs when it comes to their Constitution, but they know a perv who belongs in jail when they see one.
