Decent article from yahoo.com regarding control over Congress.

Let me ask you something, what the hell did Bush do to get his ratings into the 40's, amazing.

1. The race will tighten as election day nears. Any poll putting *...
above 40% is propaganda. There is great dissatisfaction with Bush.

If there is a true desire for change in this country and fair elections, the Democrats should be able to get a 10+ seat majority (228 seats).

2. Hate to rain on anyones parade but here in Michigan on the west coast its
not looking good for Dem's. Even back in my home area on the east coast they are blaming the democratic Governor for job loss and not doing anything to "help" people in the state. Never mind she's being blocked by pukes 96% of the time, she should work out "deals" with the pukes. Also from the east side of michigan theres a strong push for voting libertarian by those who feel change is needed. Then theres the Affirmative Action repeal on the ballot, theres a very strong push for that, after all women and minorities are stopping white men from getting jobs and promotions, We all have heard the stories about someones uncles, nephews, third cousin who didn't get the job even though he scored higher then anyone else and a damn minority who scored 45 get the job instead. Here on the west side of the state DeVos is seen as a hero because his family opened a children's hospital and we have the only Scamway store in michigan to which west siders are grateful to Scamway for. Never mind that no ones heard of either until DeVos ads started running, they follow his political ads with an ad for the children's hospital and Scamway store. On the west side I'm hearing how great shrub's doing because gas is down to $2.25 a gallon just in time for Humvee season. Its going to be interesting here in michigan and hopefully they hand out K-Y Jelly at the voting booths to ease the screwing Michigan's giving itself.

3. As for Michigan and California
Michigan- Yes I can't lie to you, Governor Granholm has been taking a crapload of heat for whats going on in Detroit with the auto industry but look for Granholm to narrowly squeak by this election cause he will see the reak Dick DeVos who supports outsourceing jobs to China, he will just make matters worst for the city of Detroit.

As for California, yes Arnold will win a full term cause alot of Democrats show dislike for Phil Angelides as being a "old school democrat" who won't being change and brings nothing to the table.

But still besides that and New Jersey, things are still looking good for our democrats.
