Bill Clinton must be laughing his ass off
All the GOP quotes about how "sinful" he was for having a consensual "adult" affair.

6. He's laughing his ass off because of hypocrisy
As a teen, Bill suffered through the broken home syndrome and overcame many things.

He would never laugh at teens being abused.

But for the rest of it, yeah, he's laughing his ass off.

5. What else do they have.
With the type of people who are in the republican party, the crooks, the stealer's, the killers (supporting Iraq) the liars and the sex abusers and pedophiles, what else do they have. There is not one legal person to be called human in the party. So they slur, they slam, the flame and name call. And you are correct not only Bill Clinton but the real Americans are laughing their butts off, just reading the trash they are putting out.

9. Republicans have ice water in their veins
unless it comes to teen-age pages.

Pages are teenagers, interns are adults.

8. I assume Clinton is not laughing, but as disgusted
Edited on Mon Oct-02-06 09:38 PM by karynnj
by the fact that an underage child was exposed to this by a person he should have been able to trust. (The Woodward book on the other hand is great. ) On a personal level I assume he is not happy that his much much much more minor transgression is being brought up.

10. The Americans forgave him for being human
He never had a higher popular rating than when the right wing was trying to impeach him. Interns are adults. Pages are teenagers.

15. I was angry at BC for a long time for being such a fool and thinking
with his Little Head instead of his Big Head. But in the end, that was his and Hillary's business, not mine (or the public's).

Words can't begin to express the loathing I feel for this Foley creepaziod. I hope they put him in the general population WHEN he goes to prison and let the jackals have at him.

16. I agree - nothing I said disputes this
My points:
- I assume Clinton, as a father, is not laughing at the Foley matter period
- I assume Clinton is not happy that is name is mentioned in this at all.

12. Especially with David Bossie coming out against Hastert
Bossie was the guy who was running all over Arkansas c. 1992-93, trying to dig up dirt against Clinton -- and peddling a lot of phony charges when he couldn't find enough real slime. But now...
http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Conservatives_also_seek_Hastert_resignation_1002.html

Conservative activists have come out strongly as well against those who knew about the emails early on. David Bossie, president of Citizens United, a conservative advocacy group, told the right-wing magazine Human Events, "Speaker Hastert had knowledge of Congressman Foley's inappropriate behavior and chose to protect a potential pedophile and powerful colleague over a congressional page."

He went on: "This inaction demonstrates a lack of leadership on Speaker Hastert's part, and calls into question both his judgment and character. If Speaker Hastert was willing to sacrifice a child to protect Rep. Foley's seat and his own leadership position, then he surely does not share our American and conservative values... Speaker Hastert's calls for an investigation are too late; he has already failed in his duty to investigate and prosecute this matter before it became a public relations problem. This lack of leadership is not only morally repugnant, but it may cost Republicans the House in November. Mr. Hastert should resign immediately."

13. As far as the humor value, this is hilarious
The GOP, party of family values, enough to split a gut in laughter.
