The longer he stays the worse the GOP looks. If he resigns they will run around saying "They know how to clean their own house." I want this to last longer and get worse. I would hope with this story being public the pages are safe, so I would like to see Hastert & the whole rotten bunch get caught up in more of their lies. There are reports of more pages coming forward. Is there any way Delay could get drawn into this?

You owe it to your constituents, your caucus and your party! Stay! Fight! Keep saying stupid things that nobody believes! Hang in there, Denny! When the going gets tough, the tough, uh, probably do something or other. But that's not really your concern, either. Battle 'em all the way down, Denny!

14. I want Hastert to stay and battle Boehner publicly for a while... |
|
They are both walking the plank holding each other...and both will fall off if we just let this story stew for a while.
If Hastert resigns, the story goes away. If he stays and has other Repugs gang up on him, then it just gets uglier for the GOP...which is perfect timing for the election.

15. My wish is this goes on for about 2 more weeks from now.... |
|
Then Woodward's book would have broken a record for sales, # 1 on NY Times...etc. bringing on more discussions about Iraq.
