If a heterosexual man was doing the same thing to young, underage girls, no one would blame or excuse his behavior on being heterosexual. There's no difference here. Be it a hetero stalking/emailing underage girls or a gay man stalking/emailing underage boys, the crime is one in the same and has nothing to do with orientation.

The ONLY reason Foley's sexual orientation should be made an issue is for the fact that, as a Republican, he has been complicit with his party in vilifying his own kind. Hypocrisy, self-loathing,etc. Like a Jew who helped the Nazis persecute other Jews.
