Bush: "Dems... wait until we're attacked again"
Edited on Tue Oct-03-06 05:38 PM by lwcon
Bush warns:

"If you listen closely to some of the leaders of the Democratic Party, it sounds like — it sounds like — they think the best way to protect the American people is, wait until we're attacked again," Bush said Monday at a $360,000 fundraiser in Reno, Nev.

That's because the Democrats don't have a bold plan like Bush's Operation Wait By The Phone:

"One hundred thousand troops there in Pakistan is not the answer. It's someone saying 'Guess what' and then the kinetic action begins," he said, meaning an informer disclosing bin Laden's location.

2. God, someone duct tape his mouth shut.
I'm sick and tired of the lies, the propaganda and the spinning.

(Just put a pretzel in there first.) :eyes:

Exactly. How many explicit warnings did they get? Nothing got their attention.

6. Waiting was okay pre-9/11 (despite the warnings)
Waiting is not okay post-9/11 since we're using the "war on terror" as an excuse to curtail human rights, expand executive powers, funnel taxpayer money to our corporate & neo-fascist supporters and attack/occupy other countries in violation of international law.

Hope this clears things up.

5. As a New Yorker,
and as someone who grew up during the Cold War hiding my desk preparing for the "big one", I can say it is something that I have always lived with, even if only in my subconsciouses. If, somewhere, somehow, the USA was going to be attacked, it would more likely than not be NYC. Back in the 1950s, we thought it would the Russians and Communists. History proved us both right and wrong.

We will be attacked again? I would say probably. I also don't think it will be in the same manner as 9/11, and I really don't think it will matter which Party is in power when we are.

Pessimist? Maybe, but you cannot live your life in fear. You just go on.
