New poll released shows Casey widening his lead over Rick Santorum

Poll has Casey’s lead growing over Santorum

HARRISBURG - Democrat Bob Casey appears to have opened a double digit lead over Sen. Rick Santorum in Pennsylvania’s Senate race, according to a poll released Tuesday.

Casey had a 14-point lead in the Quinnipiac University Poll, with 54 percent of likely voters saying they planned to vote for him compared to 40 percent for Santorum. One percent said they wouldn’t vote and 6 percent said they didn’t know.

Casey had a seven point lead among likely voters in a match up between the two in the same poll on Aug. 15.

I know Rick is capable of doing anything to win but I really think this time he's out the door and will be back home in Virginia ready to make 7 figures with the Lobbying group of his choice!

2. Joe Scarborough had Al Franken on last night.
They were talking about the "Anti-Gay Gay Republicans." Joe said that it was well known that there are several high-ranking gay Republicans.

For some reason Santorum was the first one that came to my mind. He's certainly a big enough hypocrite.

3. I'm glad.
I know that election day is still about a month away, but for a while, Ricky was closing the gap.

6. Well the one thing that is very true about Rick Santorum
And that is there is no level too low for him to stoop down to in order for him to get re-elected

8. Time to say bye-bye to the nice people, Rick. You should never
have been elected to the Senate in the first place, and now it appears that Pennsylvania voters' dissatisfaction has reached critical mass with your sorry self, and off you go.
