The ABC Reporter who broke the story said that his original sources were Republicans. Apparently, there are many career people in the Justice Dept. who are very unhappy with the way the NeoClowns have been running things. The FBI was given the Foley material many months ago, and didn't launch an investigation until the information became public.

On one of the afternoon shows on Air America Tuesday, they had an expert on the air who said that the material was probably linked to ABC from career Justice Administration staff. He said that the career people had tolerated more of the Bush Administration than they could stand. However, there wasn't any more specifics.
