do not accept that this election is local, it is about the bush agenda
if your senator or congressperson has voted for this bush nightmare agenda, even if they are nice people we have to vote them out.

Connecticut is the state in play this election. rove first worked to defeat Lieberman, now he will support Lieberman because an independent will help republicans keep the majority and committee chairmanships, which will continue the bush agenda. Connecticut in my opinion has been diabolded and Roved and will elect Lieberman.

blue states hold the key in this election, if blue states vote out their red representative's we will take back congress. blue states with red representatives are our own worst enemy.

1. Need to educate America that elections aren't local
When an elected official 1000 miles away has his hand in your pocket spending your money, its no longer a local affair.
And effectively thats what earmarks have done to the tune of 10's of billions of dollars.

Connecticut voters need to understand that Lieberman didn't deliver the gravy to the state. He approved $100 outflow for each $70 inflow.

Lieberman is a tremendous danger.

2. Wait - "rove first worked to defeat Lieberman"
nope

"has been diabolded" -- no, they vote on lever machines

Mid-term elections are very local. Bush is not running for office (perhaps ever again). The Lieberman versus Lamont race is a guaranteed win for Dems (technically - although I prefer Lamont).

I think our efforts are better addressed to races which have come into play due to Foley.
