I like all the candidates and I'm not afraid to say it. |
|
I respect them all for their views, tenacity, courage, and will to try and change america for the better. They may have views that don't coincide totally with mine but I don't hold the illusion that there is a perfect candidate. I do know that there is one candidate who I detest, and thats George Bush, but even without GB in the white house I think all of the candidates are worthwhile democratic members. Whether they are liberal, conservative, DLC or not, I think this crop is one to be proud of.

There is a lot to like about every one of them. Considering the fact that the remaining 6 were formerly relative unknowns, we should be glad such a great crop of leaders has emerged.

We are in the primaries right now. And as of yet no one has a lock on the nomination! So why would I stay home or vote other party? I, like some people am not brainwashed by the media whore outlets and am willing to let the primary process play out.

5. What a bout Lieberman? |
|
Think it odd you would pick those two and leave him out. Since he's the most conservative of the bunch. I like Kerry and Edwards myself--but I like them all. Even Kucinich. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

I know that people are concerned about the ABB attitude around here. THey even say that we would elect Hitler or Stalin if they had a D next to their name. In defense I would like to say this:
1. If Hitler or Stalin were running, I would not give them the time of day, regardless of party.
2. Nobody that bad is running on the Democratic side. Any of the candidates that are or were in the race would be a marked improvement. That is a fact.
These individuals make me proud to be a Democrat. Therefore I say that the ABB attitude is okay.

And Kerry saying he is against the MA Supreme court ruling what other choice do I have?
The Courts are the law of tha land! I know some other people that don't like court decisions and they have r's behind their name.

There's lots of people with D's behind their name, including voters who don't like the decision either. There's lots of D's who don't like Rowe v. Wade or other party platforms. They're not one issue voters. No party is going to be all things to all people. Its impossible. You have to think - which side you'd rather have appointing judges to the bench - The Dems or Republicans?

will not get my vote! I will use my vote to help throw an election to come back & fight another day. I don't play 2nd fiddle to anyone!
on edit: it's my vote I can do with it as I please. I hvae chosen 2004 like many others to take a stand, and if you think we are a minority, you better think again.

and the accumulation of power - not issues. You can't bring your issues to the table without it. To get it you must sometimes align yourselves with those you don't agree with and fight for an issue you both can agree with. Its about give and take - not either or. The either or mentality is why the country is split down the middle now. They don't understand how to amass power and how to use it. The right understands this which is why they fracture the populace with such divicive issues like race, class, flag burning, abortion and gay marriage. These are highly charged emotional issues which divide people. Make them take many sides rather than one. Divide and conquer.
